Our First Public Appearance Taught us One Thing — in Logistics, Trust Travels Faster than Technology

In the beginning, the plan for TruckSuvidha was straightforward — start small, go step by step, and see where it leads. . But even in those early days, there was a thought in the founder’s mind: Why not take this to a bigger platform?

Around that time, a friend, Rahul Vermani from IIT Kanpur, entered the picture. Rahul was returning from his campus when the idea came up. He suggested something that would change the launch plan entirely — Why not introduce TruckSuvidha at IIT Kanpur’s tech fest?

Rahul took the idea forward, spoke to his team, and soon the answer came back: “Yes, we can do it.”
And that’s how the decision was made — TruckSuvidha would make its first public appearance at IIT Kanpur.

For the first time, the website was live and accessible to everyone. Anyone who wanted to book a truck, send goods, or connect with transporters could now try it themselves.

At that moment, it felt like the journey was about to take off. The belief was simple — launch the website, and people will start using it immediately. But soon, reality set in.

It didn’t work like that. A website doesn’t succeed just because it exists.
It needs promotion.
It needs presence.
It needs connection.

The team realised that to make TruckSuvidha work, they had to step out from behind the screens. They had to be on the ground — meeting people, building relationships, and understanding their needs.

It was a lesson that hit hard, almost like a glass shattering. The assumption that “build it and they will come” broke instantly. The truth was clear: success in this space depended not just on technology, but on trust.

From that moment, the approach shifted. Before scaling up, they decided to understand the public’s demand more deeply — to observe, listen, and then move forward with the right plan.
